Swim Spa Servicing & Maintenance in Sussex
Keep your swim spa clean, properly maintained and operating as it should with professional swim spa servicing from MG Hot Tubs.
Professional Swim Spa Servicing
Swim spas require specialist attention because of their size, water capacity and combination of swimming and hydrotherapy systems. Our comprehensive swim spa service includes a deep clean, equipment checks and water chemistry balancing, completed across two visits.
A swim spa combines the features of a traditional hot tub with a larger swimming area. Its components, plumbing and water circulation systems all require appropriate care.
Regular servicing provides an opportunity to inspect the equipment, clean areas that are difficult to reach during routine maintenance and identify potential issues.
MG Hot Tubs offers a comprehensive swim spa service designed to maintain performance, cleanliness and equipment condition.
What's Included in Our Swim Spa Service?
Full System Flush & Drain
We flush the internal pipework to help remove dirt, oils and scale before draining the swim spa and cleaning the shell.
Filter & Component Care
Filters are deep cleaned or replaced as appropriate. We also inspect equipment including pumps, blowers and heaters for signs of wear, leaks and operational problems.
Jets, Plumbing & Cover Care
Jets are cleaned and refitted, relevant plumbing is checked for leaks and the spa cover is washed and treated for protection.
Refilling & Water Balancing
After cleaning, the swim spa is refilled. A return visit is then completed to balance the water chemistry and carry out final checks.

Why Does Swim Spa Servicing Require Two Visits?
Due to the size and water capacity of swim spas, our service is completed over two visits.
First visit:
The initial visit includes system flushing, draining, cleaning and inspecting the swim spa. Once this work is complete, the swim spa is left refilling.
Second visit:
A follow-up visit is normally completed the next day, once the swim spa has refilled. We balance the water chemistry, carry out final checks and confirm that the equipment is operating correctly.
This approach allows time for the refill and helps ensure the water chemistry and systems are checked properly.
Why Regular Swim Spa Maintenance Matters
Professional servicing helps you:
- Remove build-up from internal pipework and other difficult-to-clean areas
- Maintain effective water circulation and jet performance
- Identify wear, leaks and component problems
- Keep filters and other equipment in good condition
- Maintain clean, properly balanced water
An annual swim spa service is recommended by MG Hot Tubs to help maintain the equipment and its performance.
